Strauch, nee Marten, 91, of Elmhurst, beloved wife of the late Walter; fond mother of Walter (Shirley), Wayne (Anne) and William (Cheryl); grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of six; sister of Robert (Marion) Marten. Member of Elmhurst Presbyterian Church for 43 years, where she served as Circle Chairman, Deacon and Representative for Church Women United, member of Pastor Nominating Committee and Secretary for the Presbyterian Women’s Association, Edison School and Elmhurst First United Methodist Church. Also delivered Meals on Wheels to Chicago residents. Member of Elmhurst Symphony Auxiliary. Visitation at The Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst, from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
