Eugene Frank Wagendorf Sr., 78, Boulder Junction, formerly Chicago, died Tuesday, Oct. 29. Eugene was born on Jan. 11, 1924 in Regent, ND. He worked 40 years for Northwestern-Chicago Railroad in Freight Claims. He loved to fish and spend time with his family. Survivors include two sons, Eugene (Lucy) Wagendorf Jr. of Chicago, IL and Richard (Marian) Wagendorf of Boulder Junction, WI; five grandchildren, Nils, Eugene III, Kristin, Aaron and Karl; one brother, Walter (Bernice) Wagendorf of Chicago; nieces, nephews and many friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Carol, on July 25, 1998; his parents; one sister, Elizabeth; one brother, Andrew; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth. Memorial Services Saturday, Nov. 23, 11 a.m. at Mayfair Lutheran Church, 4335 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago. Interment at Cemetery of the Pines, Boulder Junction.
