Richard E. Ost, 71, of Homosassa, Sugarmill Woods, FL, formerly of Chicago, IL, died Nov. 22, 2002. Born May 12, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN to Frank and Ethel Ost, nee Carroll. U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Retired security manager for the Ameritech Corp. Member of the First Congregational Church in LaGrange, IL. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Betty J. Ost, nee Vickers, of Homosassa, FL; son, Richard T. (Deborah) Ost of Geneva, IL; daughter, Laura L. (Charles) Little of Villa Rica, GA; eight grandchildren; two stepsons, David Melichar and James Melichar both of Holiday, FL; two stepdaughters, Marcy Wright of Williamsburg, VA and Pamela Peterson of Bridgeport, WV. Memorials to Hospice of Citrus County.
