Carol Baumann, nee Albrecht, on November 23, 2002. We lost an angel here on earth to a battle with lung cancer. She died at her home in Lake In The Hills among family and friends. To her family and friends she was a caring, compassionate person who loved and made a difference to everyone around her. She was a hospice nurse with Hospice of Northeastern Illinois. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Dawn (Kevin) Falkenthal and Deborah Baumann; grandsons Aaron, Kyle and Daniel Falkenthal; and many co-workers and friends. To celebrate her life, visitation will be on Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Willow Funeral Home, 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin and will continue the following day at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 932 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake at 10 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S.
