This is regarding “Eminem; Unlikely leading man is likely to conquer Hollywood” (Arts & Entertainment, Nov. 3) by Mark Caro, Tribune movie reporter.
I think that it’s about time that someone noticed and appreciated Eminem for his unique talents, which have just been introduced to the field of acting.
Although Eminem comes off as a guy who doesn’t care, there is a softer side, which no one really seems to take note of.
It’s great that the director of the film (“8 Mile”), Curtis Hanson, compares Eminem to such a well-known, well-respected actor as Tom Cruise. It should open people’s eyes to the fact that they don’t know Eminem at all.
Newspapers should print more articles to inform more people about others like Eminem, who seem to be misunderstood.
Eminem, unlike most other people, speaks out about how life for some is really like, and isn’t afraid of what people think.
