Anthony Amberg, 66, of congestive heart failure at his home in Chicago, Nov. 4, 2002. Lecturer of English at Roosevelt University, School of Liberal Studies since 1969, and scholar of 18th century English theatre. A.B. in Liberal Studies, A.B. in English Literature and A.M. in English literature all from the University of Chicago. Survived by brother, Peter W. Amberg of Kansas City, MO; sister, Pamela Loewenstein of Lawrence, KS; niece, Ann Amberg of Langley, WA; and nephews, Christopher Amberg of Fort Calhoun, NE, David Loewenstein of Lawrence, KS and Timothy Loewenstein of Meridian, ID. Memorials to The Joseph Regenstein Library, University of Chicago, 1100 East 57th Street, Chicago, IL 60637-1502 and the English Department, School of Liberal Studies, Roosevelt University, 430 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60605. Memorial Service will be held at Roosevelt University in January, date to be determined.
