Josephine Lufman, widow of Eugene “Udie”, age 95, of West Palm Beach, FL, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2002 at 12:10 a.m. after an extended illness. Born Feb. 22, 1907 in Chicago, she lived in Indianapolis, IN from 1979 to 1990 and in West Palm Beach since June, 1990. Josephine was the daughter of the late John and Julia Malacina and was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her loving family, daughter Arline (the late Irving) Edelstein of West Palm Beach and son Leonard (Marlo) Lufman of Gurnee; and sister Marie Methenites; beloved grandmother “Nana” of Mark (Miranda) Edelstein of Chesterfield, MO and Denver, CO, David (Cathy) Edelstein of Carmel, IN, Tyrone (Jennifer) Lufman of Golden, CO, Troy (Jen) Lufman of Palatine and Todd Lufman of Gurnee; cherished greatgrandmother “Nana” of Megan, Erin, Shannon, Ross, Cole and Drew Edelstein, Alissia and Zoe Lufman; Josephine is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews; and one sister-in-law. Graveside services Friday 10 a.m., Shalom Memorial Park (Sec. VIII), Rand Road and Route 53, Arlington Heights.
