John “J.D.” Dahmer, 83, died Nov. 26, suddenly, at his home, beloved husband of Dorothy, nee Fleck; loving father of Daryl, Lee (Jane) and Lance (Rebecca); loving grandpa of Blake, Veronica, Austin, Kaitlyn and Brooke; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Conrad and Dora Dahmer; sister Ann Zakrison and brothers Fred and Conrad. Visitation will be Friday 3 to 9 p.m. at John V. May Funeral Home, 4553-61 Milwaukee Ave. Visitation Saturday 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at Eden Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5051 W. Gunnison, Chicago, IL 60630. Interment will be at Town of Maine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Forget-Me-Not Fund at Eden Church. 773-545-2115 .
