As an old white woman who has read Leonard Pitts’ column on the movie “8 Mile” (“Role reversal for white rappers,” Commentary, Nov. 19), I would like to commend him as being one of the wisest men speaking to today’s issues. His column bridges black/white, young/old feelings and values with a perfect mix of humor and wisdom.
