If as much effort and money that is put into the war on terror and the war on drugs was put into wars on hunger and poverty, this world would be a lot cooler. And possibly safer. Along with the war on terror, we need to fight a war on poverty and a war on hunger. You can’t expect one society that is largely obese and one society that is experiencing starvation to get along peacefully.
