8110 S. Ashland Ave., orange, commercial-residential, Classical-Art Deco details, 1929, G. E. Pearson: Lending a graceful touch to its heavily trafficked business district, this commercial and residential building combined classical and Art Deco motifs. City surveyors called it a potential landmark because of the unusual design of its façade and its ?very high degree of integrity.? Demolished in 1989.
