Phelan, 71, of Joliet, loving husband of Mary, nee O’Donnell, beloved father of Susan (Michael) VonderHeide, Diane (Daniel) Labriola and Timothy (Julie); adored grandfather of Lauren and Brendan VonderHeide, Madelyn Labriola, Alec and Luke Phelan; fond brother of Eugene (Bernadine); and cousin Carol and Gil Teclaw; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
