Jean DeLee, 80, of Highland Park, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, beloved wife of the late Jerry; loving companion and best friend of Hy Zigman; loving mother of Dr. Dennis (Karen) DeLee and the late Barry DeLee; adored grandmother of Dani and Lindsey DeLee; dear aunt of Donna Simon. After graduation from Roosevelt High School, she enjoyed a career as a vocalist with several big bands in the Midwest and also appeared in many theatrical productions in local and regional theaters. She was a tournament golfer playing in the Midwest and the South, primarily Florida. Services will be held Friday 12 Noon at The Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd. (at Church Street), Skokie.
