Marlene Lang, 61, of Kansas City, MO, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003 at her home. Memorial Services will be at 12 noon Sunday, Jan. 12 at The Louis Memorial Chapel. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to donor’s choice. Ms. Lang began her career in 1979 as Director of Personnel at Research Medical Center and retired in 1993 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources with Health Midwest. She was a member of the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration of the American Hospital Association, Society for Human Resource Management, Health Care Human Resources Association of Greater Kansas City, Hospital Personnel Management Association of Missouri, Board of Directors of the Associated Industries of Missouri, Chairperson of the Association’s Health Care Committee, Board of Directors of SHARE, Inc., Chairperson of SHARE’s Personnel Committee and Board of Directors of Executive Fellows Association at Rockhurst College. Ms. Lang was born in Chicago and came to Kansas City in 1979. She is survived by her sister, Sheila R. Lang of Morris Plains, NJ; nephew, Lee L.
