I’m amazed and baffled at the refusal of the United States government to enter into talks with North Korea concerning its nuclear arms build-up.

They teach us in the workforce that there is absolutely nothing to lose by talking over problems and, in most cases, much to gain. Talking will, at a minimum, allow our negotiators to get all the issues on the table. We can then decide what is in our best interest to discuss and how best to deal with all the hidden agendas (i.e. the whole picture of what North Korea is trying to accomplish).
