Robert Allen Rumachik, 50, and his wife Dene’, 47, died on Dec. 25, 2002, as a result of a plane crash. They were enroute from their home in Castle Rock, CO to Alexandria, SD. Bob was born May 28, 1952, in Chicago, IL to George and Delores Rumachik. He attended school at St. Domitilla, St. Joseph High School and graduated from the University of Illinois. Bob and Dene’ moved to Tulsa, OK in 1985. In 1999, they moved to Castle Rock, CO where he was a Computer Engineer Program Manager for IBM. Bob is survived by his father George of Elgin, IL; five brothers and sisters, George A. of Carpentersville, IL, Delores (Bob) Korby of Elgin, IL, Jannice (John) Mazeikis of Hoffman Estates, IL, Suellyn of East Dundee, IL and Terrance (Monica) of East Dundee, IL; mother-in-law Marie (the late Len) Bettmeng; nephew of Arline (Len) Gargas of Medinah, IL and Robert (Mary Jane) Johnson of Sarasota, FL; 13 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Delores M. Rumachik. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, 10 a.m. at the Interment Chapel of St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Algonquin and Roselle Roads, Palatine, IL.
