Michael A. Tremonto, age 63, beloved husband of Barbara, nee DeMichael; devoted and cherished father of Anthony (Kathy) and Frank; loving son of the late Anthony and Mary; dearest brother of Buddy (Gina) and Michalina; dear brother-in-law of Terri (Doug) Haney and Frank DeMichael; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; loving friend to many. Michael was an employee of United Airlines for 37 years until his retirement in 1995. He was a union steward for International Machinist Union Local #1487 and also a counselor to his fellow employees regarding substance abuse, giving them guidance and support. Funeral Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at 8:30 a.m. from the Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W Lake St. (1/2 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd), Roselle, to Immaculate Conception Church, 135 Arthur, Elmhurst, for 9:30 a.m. Mass.
