Lillian S. Wendler, 89, of Valparaiso, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2003 at the Valparaiso Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 13, 1913 in Chicago. Member of Heritage Lutheran Church in Valparaiso. On December 18, 1937 in Chicago she married Theodore E. Wendler, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1993. Survivors include their two children, Theodore E. Wendler, Jr., of Hodgkins, IL, Janet (Rev. Milton) Lehr of Spring Hill, FL, five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday 11 a.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso, 219-462-0535. Rev. Joseph Ostafinski officiating with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Chicago. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 6 p.m.
