President Bush’s bold plan for our economy lacks the one thing that gives growth and strength to our economy and that is American workers with jobs. The job base of our economy is being (and has been) eroded by the moving of millions of our jobs to foreign countries. The American workers were consumers and taxpayers, but with no jobs, every industry in our country is hurt.
The Bush administration needs to come up with a plan to offer big business and factory owners tax breaks and help to build new factories if they will bring jobs back to this country. The recent Bush plan is a Band-Aid that is not the answer. American workers need jobs.
