In his letter, Jim Finnegan states that the proposed Choose Life specialty license plate has nothing to do with abortion or a pro-life agenda but has to do with adoption. If the name does not have anything to do with being pro-life, and anti-choice, as Finnegan contends, maybe his organization should have had the forethought to have picked a more appropriate name for the plate and his organization, considering that the wording “choose life” is the exact wording the pro-lifers use.

This would appear to be another back-door method of the anti-abortion people to get their message across, except that having the State of Illinois assist them in their endeavor would be totally inappropriate.
