Northwestern sophomore linebacker Braden Jones, arrested and charged with battery over the weekend for allegedly punching an Evanston police officer at a fraternity house, was suspended from the team pending the outcome of legal proceedings. He is charged with battery, criminal damage to property and resisting arrest and has a March 6 court date.
