Mae H. Rainnie, 94, of Belmont Village in Carol Stream, beloved wife of the late Robert; dear sister of the late Helen Peterson; loving cousin of Noreen (John) Nordin; aunt of the late Michael and the late Jerry; friend of Scott (Laurie) Macy; and cousin and friend of many. Born Oct. 13, 1908 in Chicago, Mae was a secretary for Allied Van Lines in Chicago, before working for the City of Chicago, also as a secretary. During the Korean War she worked as a nurse’s aid at the blood bank. She married her late husband, Robert in 1956 and moved to Florida until his death. She returned to the Chicagoland area and has made many friends. She especially enjoyed her time as a resident of the Colony Park Apartments in Carol Stream. Visitation 9 a.m. until prayers are said at 9:30 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. After prayers, Funeral Mass 10 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 300 Cole St., Wheaton.
