Edward W. Valient, age 82. He was born on January 21, 1921 and at rest January 26, 2003. Edward was an Army Veteran during WWII and enjoyed employment as a truck driver for Slotkowski Sausage Co. for 22 years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Irene; loving daughters, Patricia and Joanne; a good friend and father-in-law to Joel Werner and Robert Machala. He was a very proud grandfather to Alicia, Jennifer, Amy, Adam and great-grandfather to Michael Anthony; dear brother of Mary Rice. He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Funeral service Wednesday, January 29, 2003 11 a.m. at Adolf-Berwyn Funeral Home, Ltd., 2921 S. Harlem Ave., Berwyn. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
