As a daily RedEye reader (and now purchaser) I must express concern about your political cartoons.
Political cartoons are generally smart, witty and make a political or social point in a humorous manner. Today’s (“Tom Tomorrow” Feb. 6) was the most recent in a long string of pointless and biased cartoons.
If I wanted that kind of trash I would buy Red Streak, or if I wanted that kind of bias, I may purchase the New York Times.
Regardless of political slant, I can respect a well-thought-through political cartoon that brings to light a fresh issue in a humorous way. Eighteen- to 34-year-olds are smarter and more diverse than your political cartoons indicate.
