Like the millions of Europeans and people all over the world who protested a possible war with Iraq (and I fervently wish, though doubt, that “possible” is still true), I love the United States but oppose its leaders.
I especially loathe the religious tone that President Bush and his administration adopt when they are so eager to kill people.
I worry so much that my beloved country will never overcome the hateful legacy of this accidental president.
