Trustees this week approved the modification of a traffic signal at Roselle Road and Central Avenue–a project that is part of the village’s downtown redevelopment plan.
The signal will accommodate a new driveway entrance on the east approach and the addition of a southbound left turn lane onto Roselle Road, Village Engineer Mike Higgins said.
Rosemont-based engineering firm Christopher B. Burke was offered a contract not to exceed $12,000 for the data collection and design services for the temporary and permanent traffic signal modernization plans.
