About 10 students attended a session on TV anchors at the CLTV stage in the middle of the newsroom.

The students learned a bit about how to be a TV anchor. The students saw three TV cameras, television lights and the chairs and desk where anchors sit when they are on the air.

The children also learned about how the cameras are controlled and saw the computers that the television crews use.

Children were on TV. They got to sit in the achor chairs and then the cameras were turned on and the lights were turned on. Then the students saw themselves on TV. The students were interviewed while on camera.

They were asked:

  • What is your name?
  • Where do you go to school?
  • Where do you live?
  • What state do you live in?

Some students thought their voices sounded different on camera!
