Mini sold 30,000 copies of its retro Cooper through March 22, marking its first full year on the market. Though that beat sales estimates by 50 percent and dealers say they could sell more, Mini plans to keep production at 25,000 to 30,000 annually, on the theory that exclusivity will keep demand high.
