One more word regarding the red-light problem. It has been my experience that most red lights in Chicago are from 30 to 60 seconds long. I don’t want to risk my life, or the life of another human being, to save 30 or 60 seconds. Next time a person is stuck in traffic, he should count to 60 slowly, and he’ll find that the time he saves by running the red light is negligible. He should relax and count his blessings during that long 60 seconds.
