Dusan Trbojevic of Chicago, Veteran WWII, passed away June 2, 2003 after a long illness. Survived by his loving wife Ada of 52 years; his mother-in-law Mira; and sisterin-law Ida and family; dearest uncle of Mara Letica and family, Tatjana Pilipovich and family and Brana Kerecki and family; great-uncle to Mile Trbojevic and Borka Tepsic; dear Kumovi and friend to many in Chicago, Canada and Serbia. Ever since he arrived in 1952, he was very active in most political and humanitarian organizations. He is one of the oldest members of Serbian National Defense, 50 years. Dusan was one of twelve people who organized and helped the purchase of the property in Third Lake, IL. “Most Holy Mother of God Monastery” now our beautiful New Gracanica. Three years ago he published a book about his war memoirs which was very well received in the old country. Resting at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home, 5776 W. Lawrence, Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. Pomen (wake service) 7:30 p.m. at chapel. Funeral Service Thursday, 12 noon at New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, Third Lake, IL.
