Where were the media to witness the essence of Northbrook as a community coming together? A junior at Glenbrook North has cancer, and the entire community pulled together on a recent Sunday night to throw “Brian’s Birthday Bash,” which raised money to go toward his treatment. We filled the dance floor with more than 300 Northbrook residents–Glenbrook North students, parents and community members.
This is what Northbrook should be known for. We are a community that stands behind its members and bands together to help a family in its time of need. This is what our community is made of.
