I am shocked and disappointed at Sammy Sosa being caught cheating with a corked bat (“Apologetic Sosa: I picked the wrong bat; Says corked one meant for practice,” Page 1, June 4). It has been a long time since Cubs fans have had a winner, but is this how we need to win? I’d rather see a losing team playing an honest game than something like this. I want no excuses and I won’t listen to any apologies.
