The popular Chicago production of “The Vagina Monologues” will end its more than two-year run at the North Side’s Apollo Theatre after 1,000-plus performances. The last show is scheduled for July 13.

“Monologues” will be replaced by “Menopause, the Musical.” The off-Broadway show is about a group of middle-aged women who bond after meeting at a lingerie sale and features songs from the 1960s and 1970s with revised lyrics.
