Walter J. Marzec, 73, of Huntley, formerly of Des Plaines, IL, passed away June 10, 2003, loving son of the late Stanislaus and Mary, nee Zawisak, Marzec; beloved husband of Sharon, nee Bendig; dear father of Lisa (Steve) Bono; brother to Caroline Valente, the late John Marzec and the late Jean Phillips; uncle of Gary (Carol) Valente, Carol Retzer and Johnny Valente Jr. Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. Walter worked as a Cement Mason for Local #502, 50 years prior to retirement. Memorial Services Saturday, June 14, 2003, 3 p.m. in the Trinity United Methodist Church, 605 W. Golf Rd., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056, with Rev. Kirk Reed officiating. Interment private. Visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of Services at the church.
