The title: Dem-o-lition Derby
The pitch: Nine Americans run for the nomination, and they’ll do anything to get the chance to oppose President George W. Bush.
The Hollywood twist: They must win a madcap cross-country car race from New York City to Los Angeles, and you-know-who runs the law enforcement that’s out to thwart their trips.
