Herman J. Mueller, age 77, died June 25, 2003 at his residence in Northbrook. Beloved husband of 50 years to Clara; loving father of Heidi (Wayne) Close, Helena Mueller, Barbara (Patrick) Scott and the late John Mueller; dear grandfather of Christopher, Katherine, Corey and Christian; dear brother of Albert (Carol) Mueller. Funeral mass Saturday 9:30 a.m. at St. Norbert Church, 1809 Walters Ave., Northbrook. Interment All Saints Cemetery. He was a retired carpenter who was born in Reckendorf Germany on April 14, 1926 and emigrated to the US in 1950, settling in the Chicago area. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.
