Walter Fredrick Sosniecki, age 87, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Bensenville, IL, born March 22, 1916 in Chicago, IL, passed away June 28, 2003 in Sarasota, Fl. He was a retired metalurgical manager for Revere Copper & Brass, Chicago, IL. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Marie Eva, nee Hornburg; two sons, Gary of Lebanon, MO and Dale of Moberly, MO; and grandsons, Dane and Ian of Moberly, MO; preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Angela, nee Fabin, Sosniecki; and sister, Estelle Eaton. Mr. Sosniecki was a U.S. Army Veteran, member of White Pines Sportman’s Club, Ducks Unlimited and the Elk’s Lodge of Sarasota. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Tuesday July 15, 2003 p.m., at Geils Funeral Home, 180 S. York Rd., Bensenville, IL.
