Harriet Edith Schnoor, nee Roepstorff, age 74, late of Kankakee, formerly of Park Forest for 20 years, passed away on June 16, beloved wife of the late Robert (2002); loving mother of Elsie Dykwell of California; and dearest aunt of Cyndi (Kevin) Bechely of Lansing; fond great-aunt of Kelcie, Kylie and Jenna Bechely of Lansing. Harriet was a math librarian at Eckhart Library for 32 years, 1959-1986 and science librarian at Crerar Library from 1986-1991. She was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Park Forest. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2901 Western Ave., Park Forest.
