What’s the matter with people that they’d take valuable time out of their day and then wait in line to sniff a flower with an aroma like that of a decomposing corpse (Perspective, July 27)? If they want to smell something really bad, they could just stop by my house and get a whiff of my son’s gym shoes. And there’s no waiting.
