The top headline in the Aug. 22 edition takes the prize for biased reporting. On Aug. 21, Hamas claimed responsibility for a suicide bomber who killed 20 Israelis. That same day, incredibly, Hamas said the cease-fire was still in place. Only after Israel retaliated did Hamas declare the truce over–and the Tribune took the bait. Don’t you take any pride in the picture your headlines paint?
I’m greatly disillusioned that the Tribune would swallow such blatant manipulation, for any reason.
