A Bloomingdale teenager has been indicted as an adult for allegedly pointing a loaded gun at a Marquardt Middle School pupil in Glendale Heights last spring.
A grand jury Thursday indicted James Gavrilys, 15, on one count of unlawful use of a weapon and one count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, authorities said.
According to DuPage County authorities Friday, Gavrilys allegedly walked up to a male pupil on May 16, pointed a loaded gun at his head and threatened him. Gavrilys was a freshman at an area high school at the time, officials said.
