Thank goodness for letter writer D.E. Haskins (“TV noise,” Voice of the people, Sept. 20). I thought I was alone in being annoyed with the excessive background noise during programs and news. I would add only that radio is just as frustrating and annoying. I no longer subject myself to this insult and get my news from the newspaper.
