Hebert Demel, former Volkswagen executive, is new chief executive at Fiat. As Volkswagen’s chief in Brazil from 1997 to 2001, Demel had to deal with slowing sales and rising labor costs. He replaces Giancarlo Boschetti, who is leaving after nearly 40 years.
