Mary Catherine Zaeske, nee Kane, age 67, of Naperville, died Sunday, October 19, 2003 at her home. She was born May 18, 1936 in Chicago. Loving wife of Fredric “Fred”; beloved mother of Mary Elizabeth (Tim) Weltzer, Joan M. (Michael) Kaufman, Fredric G. (Cindy), Ellen (Brendan) Kranzmann, Ann (Douglas) Janke, and Catherine (Timothy) Harron; adored grandmother of 18; devoted daughter of the late Peter and Marguerite Kane; dear sister of Margaret (Dan) McGrath, Loretta (Dave) Golden, Dr. Peter (Dr. Patricia) Kane, Joan (Leonard) Fletcher, and Richard (Judy) Kane; fond aunt of many. A speech pathologist, Mrs. Zaeske taught in the Chicago and Glendale Heights public school systems over the years. She also headed The SS. Peter & Paul Church CCD Program for 12 years. Visitation Wednesday, 3 to 9 p.m. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL. Services will begin Thursday, 9 a.m. from the funeral home and will proceed to a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville, IL. Interment SS.
