The staggering success R. Kelly has had in the wake of child porn charges has everyone from Britney Spears to B2K positioning themselves to collaborate with him. Yet, his inability to work with every artist has rapper Cam’ron fuming.
“Me, I got beef with R. Kelly,” Cam’ron told MTV.com. “The ‘Snake’ song, he asked me to fly to L.A. and do the video, I said fine, in exchange for him to do a beat and hook on my album. There’s no beat from Kelly, there’s no hook from Kelly.”
While realizing Kelly’s schedule is what got in the way, Cam’ron explained that he feels jilted by the R&B star.
“The whole industry was [bleeping] on you,” he explained. “Now everybody is back on the bandwagon, I’m jumping off. I still love his music, he’s a great musician, but I can’t do business with that man.”
