Cormick “Bud” L. Breslin, 78, of Barrington Hills, at rest Thursday, December 4, 2003, retired partner from KPMG Peat Marwick, and former Vice President and member of Board of Directors of Casualty Insurance, graduate of DePaul University in 1949 and a WWII Navy Vet serving from 1942-1945. He was the beloved husband for 50 years of Catherine “Kay”, nee Righeimer, whom he married on June 27, 1953; devoted father of Eileen, John (Eileen), Jim (Pam), Mary Rose, Patti (Joe) Denny, Tom (Sarah), Donna (Mike) Wadzita and Terry Breslin; cherished grandfather of Kevin, Brian, Tim, Sara, Emily, Matt, Cormick, Malachy and Katherine, Breslin, Geoff Winters, Shawna Mitchell, Matt, Meaghan, Kaitlyn, and Joey Denny, Melissa and Brent Wadzita; loving son of the late Cormick and Rose, nee Devaney; fond brother of Joseph (Martha), Mary (Casey) Byczek, Gene and the late Jim, Jack and Bob; dear brother-in-law of Kathleen, Jim (Therese) Righeimer, Dorothy (and the late Jack) Righeimer and many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, December 5, from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington. Mass of Christian burial Saturday at St. Anne Church, corner of Franklin and Ela Streets, Barrington, where he will lie in state from 11 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12 p.m. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
