Kenneth E. Nordquist, age 72, of Park Forest for 43 years, formerly of Evergreen Park, passed away on Dec. 10. Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Ursula; dear father of Karen (Kent) Porter of Alexis, IL, Glenn (Michelle) Nordquist of Glendale Heights, IL and Kevin Nordquist (fiancee, Amanda) of Chicago; cherished grandfather of Derek, Kristin and Bonnie Nordquist of Glendale Heights, IL, Emily Porter of Urbana, IL and Jessica Porter of Alexis, IL; dear brother of Larry (Pat) Nordquist of Florida. Kenneth was a retired teacher and coach from Rich East and Rich South High Schools, where he taught P.E. and Driver’s Ed. He was also the coach for freshman football and varsity wrestling. In 1994 he was inducted into the Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Hall of Fame.
