Visitation services celebrating the life of Thomas Andrew Dewbray, 43, of Bloomingdale, IL. will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003 at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 Lake St., Roselle, 630-889-1700. Memorial services will be the following morning at the funeral home, Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003 at 10 a.m. He passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Loving father, family man and friend to all he knew. Tom had a terrific laugh and a true love of life. He loved the Lord with all he had and lived his life with humor and a respect of all life. Talented potter and photographer who loved art, music and sports. Avid gardener with a love of roses. Favorite saying “Try not, Do or Do Not, There is No Try”. Attended EIU on a Ceramics/Art Scholarship and was nationally featured in “Ceramics Monthly”. A 25 year “A” card journeyman. Electrician with I.B.E.W. Local #134 Chicago. Loving father of Alexandra “Alex”; daughter of Pam Carpinelli; dearest son of Edward and Virginia “Ginni”; fiancee of Carol Lee Riddle; loving brother of Edward Jr (Debra), Denise (David) Hoover, Steven (Darlene Palatine) and David (Jeanne); beloved nephew of Frances O’Neill, Marge (Chuck) Burton, and Irene (Louis) Nemeth; thoughtful uncle of Amanda, Paul and Raymond. Memorials may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
