Daniel Skrodenis, 67, of Hot Springs, AR, died Saturday, December 13 in a local hospital. Born December 31, 1935 in Chicago, IL to Frank and Helen Skrodenis, he was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired floral designer. He loved his flowers and nature but he loved his country most of all. He was a Master Gardener and a member of the Berlin U.S. Military Veterans Association and the Hot Springs Bonsai Club. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Edward and Bruno. Survivors include his wife, Lucille; one brother Frank Skrodenis of PA; and extended family and friends across the United States. There will be private family services on Friday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Ranch, 100 St. Jude Street, Boulder City, Nevada 84006-0100 or the local VFW, Thaddeus F. Caraway Post 2278.
