I picked up the Tribune Saturday morning and was pleased to see an article on the Wisconsin basketball team. I live in Wisconsin and am an avid sports fan and former high school coach. Thanks to Skip Myslenski for getting it. Our society most often goes for flash instead of substance. Myslenski’s article highlighted what may be called our Midwestern values. I appreciate hard work, discipline and team over individual accomplishment. All survive and thrive in systems such as Bo Ryan’s at Wisconsin. Thanks for pointing that out.
